Generac Power Systems signed a sublease for a 481,000 square-foot former Briggs & Stratton distribution center in Germantown. Representatives of Generac (NYSE: GNRC), which is based in Genesee Depot, didn't respond Monday to requests for comment. A Briggs & Stratton spokeswoman declined to comment. Briggs & Stratton, which is based in Wauwatosa, announced in January 2022 closing the Germantown distribution center at 12800 Holy Hill Road after exiting the product lines handled at the facility. The Briggs & Stratton business segment at the facility sold portable generators, pressure washers and snow throwers to mass retailers, the company said at the time.
