June 19, 1939-Sept. 21, 2023 Lucille Ann 'Tootie' Nitzke, age 84, of Berlin, died peacefully at home on Thursday, September 21, 2023. She was born June 19, 1939, in Berlin, the daughter of Clifford and Lucille Piekarski Kalupa. She was a 1957 graduate of Berlin High School and attended Wisconsin State University (Oshkosh). On October 1, 1960, she was united in marriage to Stuart Nitzke. Tootie's first job was as a switchboard operator for Wisconsin Bell. She enjoyed being a clerk at Berlin Pharmacy and a secretary at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
